Measuring 360 tour results: which metrics matter?
Measure 360 tour results with 4 metrics: views, average view time, traffic sources and contact-button clicks. No revenue promises without evidence.

Measuring 360 tour results: which metrics matter?
Once you've paid for a 360 tour, you should know whether it's working. But a tour's "effectiveness" isn't always "instant bookings" — a tour is one link in the customer journey. Four metrics worth watching, plus honest talk about which ones a tour can own and which it can't.
4 metrics to track
1. Tour views. How many people open the tour. The most basic metric — an unwatched tour makes every other metric meaningless. Low views mean a distribution problem (see sharing tours via Zalo and QR), not a tour problem.
2. Average view time. How long guests stay inside. 10 seconds and gone is very different from 3 minutes walking all scenes — this tells you whether the tour holds attention. Abnormally short times? Check: slow loading? Unappealing first scene?
3. Traffic sources. Where guests come from: website, Zalo, desk QR, Google Maps. Per-channel links (explained in sharing via Zalo/QR) reveal which channel brings most guests — then double down there.
4. Contact-button clicks. How many tap the Zalo/booking button inside the tour. The closest thing to "conversion" a tour measures directly — and the reason where to place contact CTAs exists.
Honest limits
A 360 tour doesn't directly generate revenue — it's a decision-support tool. A guest who views the tour then books by phone leaves no "booked thanks to tour" record. So:
- Don't judge tours on sales alone — judge on behavior: do guests view, how long, do they tap contact?
- When guests contact you, ask one more question: "how did you hear about us?" — a spoken answer is the most valuable data no tool captures.
- Compare before/after: did "what are the rooms like?" inquiries drop after the tour? Did per-guest consultation time shrink?
Reading metrics to improve
- High views, low view time → weak first scene, or slow mobile loading.
- High view time, low contact clicks → guests enjoy looking but find nowhere to contact — recheck CTA placement.
- Zalo as top source → invest in message templates, train staff to send tours at the right moment.
Measurement isn't for showing off numbers — it's for knowing what to fix. A tour is a living asset; the more you measure, the better it gets.
