Preparing your 360 tour for peak travel season

Peak season (holidays, Tet, summer) brings the most room searches — and your 360 tour must be at its best then. Don't wait until guests flood in to discover the tour still shows rainy-season photos, old prices, a broken Zalo button. A pre-season checklist, done 1–2 months ahead.

1. Shoot in the most beautiful season

If your venue differs starkly by season (beach resorts, farmstays, highland homestays):

  • Schedule shoots 1–2 months before peak season, at the venue's most beautiful moment.
  • Prioritize reshooting outdoor scenes: beaches, gardens, views — where rainy and dry seasons look worlds apart.
  • Indoor scenes are less season-sensitive — reshoot only after renovations.

No beautiful-season photos? At minimum ensure current photos aren't from the worst season — a tour with gloomy rainy-day shots running in summer handicaps itself.

2. Audit the entire tour

Walk the tour as a new guest and check:

  • All navigation points work, names still correct
  • Info points accurate (amenities, descriptions)
  • Zalo/contact buttons tappable, correct numbers
  • Loads fine on phones
  • No scenes of renovated/closed areas remain

3. Update peak-season prices and policies

  • Peak-season rates usually differ from regular days — update in-tour prices to match the new rate card.
  • Different peak booking policies (deposits, cancellations)? State them clearly in the tour — avoids disputes after booking.
  • Peak offers (if any) go into info points at the first scene — guests see the deal the moment the tour opens.

4. Push distribution before the season

A great tour must be seen:

  • Move the tour to prominent website/fanpage spots (top of the booking page).
  • Prepare Zalo message templates with the tour link for staff — peak season brings message floods; templates mean fast replies.
  • Print new QR codes if links changed; verify old QR codes still scan.
  • Publish fresh 360 photos to Google Maps — peak-season searches spike, and beautiful Maps photos pull new guests.

5. Prepare your team

  • Who answers Zalo when guests tap the in-tour button? Peak season needs someone on duty — a CTA leading to an unanswered Zalo wastes the whole tour.
  • Train new staff on sending tours to inquiring guests (scripts in sharing via Zalo).
